Project Description
A special wearable medical device for pregnant women to treat vomiting during pregnancy. Functionally, the electrode sheet at the bottom of the wrist band contacts the wrist and controls the human nerve to stop vomiting through low-frequency pulses of different intensity. The watchband and electrodes which contact with human body belong to disposable consumables, and the discharge part, as the main body of the product, can be used many times. The product appearance design is based on the integrated medical grade silica gel material as the visual main body. The overall design is round and fresh, and user acceptance is high. The strap achieves the active sweating effect through smooth rounded corners. It is more concise and beautiful without sweating trough. It provides users with high-end comfortable and senseless wearing experience.
User Value
The product hopes to effectively alleviate the uncomfortable state of pregnant women in the early stage of pregnancy. It can control brain nerves through low-frequency pulse to reduce the physiological stimulation of stomach regurgitation. Flow
This design project applies a unique innovation process. First, the electronic engineer realizes the basic functions of the product. At the same time, cooperating with the product attributes to find the right design service provider. After many discussions, we finally determined the production plan that the cost of the single product is appropriate, the production does not need to open the hard mold, and the apparent effect is better, and then further formed the overall design form. Finally, the win-win result that the design conforms to the production and the production promotes the design is realized.

The project took 12 months from project establishment to design delivery and R & D investment of 5 million.
