At the initial design of the space the landscape and the interior of the building where been considered as one. The emotional area where the “sense of being” is the intangible quality we have always wanted to bring to people, we call it "existential architecture." In this case, the whole architecture was described as a hill. The architecture is composed with few simple light volume pieces. Clear glasses is dominated in Between pieces. It also presents a silhouette-like "mountain" at night. This kind of lines are similar to Chinese freehand drawing, and this design method must be support with relatively delicate material and detailed designs such as stone, glass, metal, or even tile, to avoid become a rough conceptual sketch. The project is located in between the City's largest Boulevard “Taichung boulevard” and an alley. The best way to reduce the pressure when architecture itself is located in an ally roadway is to penetrate the lower part of the architecture. This design method allow the view to pass through the building to emerge the landscape in the south. The entire lower part of the base is raised, and the small indoor space is located between water and plants. It is unfolded in the circuitous streets and alleys. The site built-in the broken land. The odd shape of the site been soften by the landscape full with canopy. During night, the light were been washed onto the exterior wall to create different layer of bright blocks. With the use of light the site itself provide high contrast with the surroundings, an contrast between systemize and disorder. Create a Suddenly feeling of peaceful to the environment.

To connect the vision, camphor tree where plants out on the north-facing of the site with silver leaves underneath the camphor trees when the breeze pass by levees would be drafting by the wind like paddy swinging on the field. Using the method of vision penetration, space from the back appears gradiently into the front street. The architectural concretes stagger from each other in a strip shape, it allow wind to penetrate the structure with shallow water below the structure. this design method created an unique way to reduce urban heat island effect from the space by allowing wind to penetrate and wiggle through the structure with the mixture of water to cool down the space. In the space, there are natural cooling of wind with water, and After space been divide in small pieces, each one is connected to the environment, forming an integrated space with interdependence of architecture, interior and landscape. The large and small sculptures where set on the water, artworks in cooperation with the space to contemplated and inspired the people beyond the reality while circulating in the space.

After the completion of this project, it was affirmed by many residents and designers. It located in a ideally location with convenient transportation. Evergreen Laurel Hotelon is located on the right handside of the project, directly opposite is the Tempus Hotel. It is close to Taichung's main roads and luxury hotels, it is also the new landmark of Taichung's most attractive residential area.

The top-floor facilities match the characteristics of the season, such as the idea of the mountains and the floating clouds , designing the whole living situation on the mountaintop with spa and outdoor barbecue area. Meals, spa, and resting are three main things. creating and ideally pace for family and friends to get together in the winter to celebrate their unforgettable holiday night. We want residents to experience the changes of nature in every different season in an urban high rise building.

When the team set the design concept of avant-garde, our thinking focused on the presentation of the mountain. Along the way from the mountain to the mountain, the obvious changes in altitude of the high mountains, from the low altitude in summer to the autumn and winter scenery of the high mountains, are also unique to Taiwan. Therefore, we combined poetry’s description of the seasons to design a spatial situation that fits the four seasons, coupled with the design of living objects, and shaped the "landscape" in different seasons. Each balcony has a height of four floors and exists in a cantilevered manner which separate from the main architecture. Therefore, the wind between the elevated and through-hardened hardware and sufficient southward sunlight give these spaces an innate Advantages, so plants can grow abundantly, forming a floating garden. People can therefore enjoy the seasons and the beauty of life between poetry.

The existence of design and unpretentious and warm interactions are experienced through shared space. The Ching Chi design language creates resonance between humans and between humans and space.
