Qi Design is creating the Lotus Island cultural and tourism project "Youheji Society" for the Yangcheng Lake Ecological Leisure Tourism Resort in Suzhou. Using the unique pastoral scenery of Lianhua Island as a carrier and integrating the collective concept of rural cooperatives, we aim to create a vibrant natural leisure destination that provides tourists with diverse and interactive agricultural tourism experiences. In terms of visual design, hand drawn illustrations that are close to nature are used to convey the lively and joyful atmosphere of the countryside. The simple lines and vivid orange white contrast colors, combined with a clear and concise logo, give people a bright and coordinated impression. The architectural part involves renovating the existing old buildings in the space and introducing natural beauty. Use light strips and display windows to highlight the visual highlights of the exterior facade. The overall indoor material is a combination of wood and rattan, reflecting a simple and natural temperament. Dining and enjoying the scenic area is clear and transparent, with a row of terraces unfolding by the window. The bookshelf made of partition walls creates an immersive reading and scenic area. Behind the soundproof curtain on the left side of the bar counter, there are stepped seats suitable for hosting events such as study tours and gatherings. Provide a relaxed and symbiotic spatial atmosphere for the incoming and outgoing crowd.

After its opening, the project provided a new leisure destination for local residents and tourists on Lianhua Island. During the crab season, there is a large influx of people, and its commercial value is also reflected.

Youheji Society is a rural renovation project jointly developed with the local town government, becoming a model project for rural renovation in Suzhou.
