The office space of Huxi Social Work Committee located in Suzhou is a social multifunctional composite office space that integrates office, team cooperation, and negotiation, accommodating social innovation organizations that serve the people and engage in public welfare. The focus of renovation during design is on spatial innovation, exploring the expression of happiness in social and creative office spaces. Combining the concept of environmental protection, the wood and furniture from the old wood market are reused, incorporating a sense of history and a lively and beautiful design. The exposed pipes and lighting fixtures on the top are painted with a unique red color, symbolizing the selfless dedication of social and creative organizations in their work. The thick walls were painted with a light, cloud like white color, breaking the problem of low floor height and cramped space. At the same time, it symbolizes the renewed and fresh service attitude of the community service center. The semi partition form creates a three-dimensional functional zoning, reasonably dividing the space into areas that undertake different work modes, balancing multiple work modes, and creating a warm and harmonious spatial atmosphere. The overall use of simple materials gives a sense of calmness, promoting a harmonious atmosphere in the overall office space and forming a clean and sincere humanistic care.
