Against the backdrop of the growing prevalence of digitalization and remote work, the form and needs of meetings are undergoing changes. To address the communication barriers for remote participants in meetings, we have developed the thinkplus Pocket Plus software, which uses AI technology to provide real-time translation, transcription, and meeting summary to improve meeting efficiency. The design concept of thinkplus Pocket Plus software is inclusiveness and connection, aiming to create a more inclusive meeting environment where every participant can be heard and understood. The software, with professional audio equipment and intelligent noise reduction algorithms, can accurately identify the speaker's role and emotions, transcribe audio to text in real-time, and allow users to quickly generate meeting summaries.

The main users of the thinkplus Pocket Plus software are professionals who need to participate in meetings remotely. The system provides them with functions such as real-time translation, transcription, and meeting summary, greatly improving their meeting efficiency and engagement. The project has made significant improvements in terms of functional innovation and user experience.

Since its launch, the thinkplus Pocket Plus software has quickly gained market recognition in a short period, enhancing Lenovo's market share and brand visibility in the field of smart office solutions.

By supporting flexible work scenarios, the project contributes to reducing carbon footprints caused by transportation and office HVAC consumption, bringing value to sustainable development for society.

Lenovo China Empowerment Center's experience design team participated in this project, playing a key role in design, user experience, and software UI design. Additionally, the company's internal customer service department provided valuable feedback during the testing phase, and external industry experts and users offered professional opinions during the evaluation phase.

In the project process, the team adopted agile development methods to ensure rapid iteration and flexible response to user feedback. Furthermore, the team utilized advanced prototyping tools and user testing methods to enhance design quality and user experience.

The project took approximately 6 months from initiation to design delivery.
