Designer takes advantage of the 5 meters ceiling, placing cars at two adjustable platforms with different levels, allowing visitors to view the cars at various angles and distances. He uses monochromatic color to set off the collection. More, a concave shape of upper level is being designed to equalize the audience attention on different cars while maintaining symmetry. Unlike the showroom, the designer infuses warmth into the office by adding natural elements, creating a welcoming ambience. Our client, who is very passionate about cars, envisioned a multifunctional space that combines work and hospitality that not only creates a comfortable working environment, but can also exhibit his car collection. The lower level of the unit has a five meter ceiling that is fully utilized. Two platforms are designed to showcase the owner’s car collections. At the same time, we take advantage of the space, placing cars at different eye catching levels, allowing visitors to view the car collection at various angles and distances. The platforms are built with an elevating function, which ensures that the visual showcase is unaffected during a change of position. Designer focuses on reducing unnecessary design and uses concrete board as the main background material to set off the shape and colour of the car collections. Designer also gives up the main central axis as showroom central stage and deliberately builds a concave shape for the upper level and uses both sides to equalize the audience attention on different cars while maintaining symmetry. Unlike the showroom, the designer infuses warmth into the office by adding natural elements, creating a welcoming ambience. Behind the hidden door, there is a master bedroom clad in concrete patterned wallpaper and rustic wooden flooring, allowing the owner to relax and rest up after his frequent travels for competitions in different places.
