作為一家室內設計公司的工作室,其目標是創建一個與傳統間隔佈局及環境氣氛有所不同的辦公空間,為員工和客戶營造輕鬆有趣的氛圍。對於員工而言,一個舒適的環境能夠緩解他們的壓力以及增強他們的創造力。對於客戶,我們希望能夠提供一個有趣的環境,以促進他們的空間想像力,同時也能讓他們容易接受更多的設計概念及思想。在這個佔地4000平方英尺的空間裡包含了休閒區、工作區、開放式玩樂區、私人會議區和私人辦公室,以及增加了一個最重要的陳列室區域,用以展示不同的裝飾物料,方便與客戶就地取材解說,擴大了整個空間的使用率

為了實現獨特不沉悶的創作環境,突顯設計公司的形象,設計師把空間規劃放在首位,精心佈置了平面圖,以在輕鬆愉快的氛圍中反映專業形象。這個辦公室的設計思想源於打造一個玩味趣意突破沉悶工作環境的概念。於是把桌球區安排在整個工作室的核心位置,打造出一個規劃各樣遊樂設施,讓工作團隊寓工作於娛樂。位於內堂的員工辦公區,有彩虹特色墻,於其接連天花作往外彎曲的造型,形成非凡的裝飾效果。雨後的陽光會反射這些顏色,從而營造出一個令人愉悅、有趣輕鬆的環境,以增強設計師的創造力,讓更多的創作靈感萌發,讓每一個設計方案都能夠創作出彩虹般的精彩美妙。
商业表现
室內設計公司的工作環境,異於一貫商業公司所處理的日常職務,除了與客戶洽商設計項目外,更多時候需要與自家設計團隊開會溝通、了解工程進度等,其餘大多時間是創作繪圖及思考設計的可行性。所以辦公室的很多方面是專門獨特設計的,使用不同的材料,不同的燈飾照明和智能家居控制系統來營造獨特型格的工作環境氣氛。方便與客戶洽談設計項目時可以就地取材,從而促進與員工和客戶的設計討論。與傳統辦公室相比,更規劃了各樣遊樂設施,讓工作團隊寓工作於娛樂,令客戶和客人都喜歡這種環境,從而以有趣的方式展示了整個辦公室的高質量專業設計。
社会影响
我們希望告訴大家,現在的辦公環境不一定要跟隨以前嚴肅的模式;開心的、好玩的、娛樂型的辦公空間不僅反映了雇主對生活方式的態度也能一樣呈現專業印象。空間內的有趣及好玩的元素可以使大家的大腦及靈魂在最自然的狀態下得到放鬆,讓辦公室充滿歡樂和動力。相信這種歡樂的辦公室將會越來越受歡迎。
团队组织
此項目涉及了五名全職員工,主設計師譚沛嶸帶領團隊與相關供應商、選擇裝潢用料。一名項目經理負責時常地去項目現場監工,按照圖則更進裝潢進度、規格、按時間表進行工程,與相關供應商洽商物流及互相配合。一位工程經理從開始到結束全程監督和指導工程項目。一位行政主任負責採購及更進所需要之物料。一位軟裝設計師負責購買軟裝項目、調整空間內的所有擺件以及裝飾空間以達到最終效果。財務部也提供相應的協助,以確保工程專案的所有付款都按時繳納,避免工程有任何延誤。外來專家例如相關供應商,為這項目提供了最新潮流用料,為這個項目增添了創意和品味。
流程方法
對於此項目,入口處設計了盡展公司歷年來獎杯與獎狀的展示墻,旁邊大片木墻中暗藏著一個大型會議室,還有玄關區設有一個小型影音室,沿著材料展示區,由兩扇180度旋轉的門分隔玄關區與內在底韻—英式桌球區與工作區,辦公室則規劃在整個區域的兩邊。
為了實現獨特有趣的工作創作環境,把大型的英式台球桌放在整個工作室的核心位置。為員工打造一個工作以外能放鬆的休憩活動區域,同時設計師特意在球桌上的吊燈設計了“ ET”字形的燈球編排,整個照明設備放置在球桌的中央,以便將“ ET”字形燈球投射到每個球面上。而鎢絲LED燈的使用也有別于傳統的辦公照明,以這種有趣的設計方式傳達我們作為設計師的職業,營造獨特的設計氣氛,突顯設計公司的形象。

此項目由設計到項目完成為期半年,設計、材料、施工及智能系統的資金投入大概是港幣3,700,000。
达成情况
這個設計得到各方面的好評,員工們非常享受在這工作及使用娛樂設施來保持精神、體力及舒緩壓力。 許多的合作夥伴表示非常喜歡在辦公室內的雪茄房輕鬆談生意。客人們停留在辦公室的時間加長了,表示在這個輕鬆的環境內討論設計和購買材料是完善且舒適的體驗。
Project Description
As an office for an interior design company, the aim is to create an office space that is nothing like the traditional cubicle layout office environment with a relaxed, playful and fun atmosphere for both employees and clients. For employees, it can a relaxed, yet lively space to ease their mindset, to give them a comfortable, yet stress relief environment to enhance creativity. Also motivate employees to want to be in the office. For clients, we hope to provide a playful environment to facilitate their imagination and to be more open on receiving possible design ideas. A 4000-square-feet space filled shall be filled with leisure areas, workspaces, open & private meeting area, office room and most importantly a showroom to display different materials supply.
User Value
To achieve the design, the floorplan is carefully mapped to reflect a professional image in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The main creative idea emerges by placing a Pool table in the center of the open office to achieve a recreational working playground. For working area at the far end of open office, the designer have adapted colors of the rainbow to create a feature wall. These colors are reflected by the sunshine after the rain creating an inviting and refreshed environment to enhance creativity. The rainbow feature wall helps to induce a fun and relaxed environment for more creative ideas to facilitate their work process.
Business Performance
It is essential an office is designed to fit its daily operation, further this office is purposely structured to incorporate different design mechanisms, such as using different materials and texture (including marbles, tile, wall paper & floorings), lightings, kitchen cabin, furniture and smart home control system to showcase the design work to facilitate design discussions with both staffs and client. Clients and guests appreciate such environment compared to traditional office to demonstrate the sprite of quality design throughout the office in a playful manner.
Social Impact
Now a days it is not compulsory for an office to remain in the traditional format, it can be fun, playful and entertaining to reflect a lifestyle to achieve a professional image. The fun and playful elements can be a natural source of endorphin to relax the mind and soul to make a workplace become an active playground. This would potentially be the best ergonomic for future workplace.
Team Structure
This project involved 5 full-time employees, including Eric (Chief Designer) to master the overall design with relevant parties and material selection. A project manager whom will be constantly on site to follow up on progress to ensure all construction is done according to technical drawings and timeline with construction vendor and coordinate onsite logistics, including delivery of materials. A construction manager to oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion. An administrative supervisor to procure and follows up on all required materials. An interior decorator to purchases furnishings, coordinate items and decorate the space to result in a complete. The finance department also provided their assistance to ensure all payments for the project were processed in time, including the client to avoid any delays. External experts whom have also assisted including material vendors, whom constantly provided latest details on materials to enable us to select the latest and most trendy materials for this project.
Flow
For this project, the flow of design begins with a corner at the entrance area displaying awards and trophy achieved throughout the yearrs, follow by a large meeting room and mini theatre along a tunnel of material display segmented with 2 flipping doors leading to a main open space (including an open kitchen) with meeting rooms/ leisure zones / offices on both sides of the floor plan. The placement of a pool table became the center of attention at open area to amplify the concept of an office playground. The pool table is a physical form entertainment in many occasions, the lightings above is purposely positioned to project “ET” on each pool when placed in center of table as a form of lighting design. This aims to reflect company branding as well as a way to communicate our profession as designers in a playful manner. The usage of tungsten filament LED lamps are not lightings you will find in a traditional office.
Project Investment
The duration of this project took half year from initiation to final delivery. The total investment for this project including design, all materials, construction and smart home was around HK$3,700,000.
Project Achievements
Users have expressed a genuine liking towards the design, as staffs enjoy the spacious relaxed environment to maintain energy level. Visitors tends to stay much longer. Many corporate clients appreciates the smoking/cigar room facility to ease the business negotiation process. Other enjoys the non-traditional environment to show a good design and material displays, which creates a one-stop shop for material purchase and design service.
