A private residence with 1,300 sq.ft located in Bel Air Residence is a warming home for a family with two children. Inspired by the love of holding little hands, this project is an affection, a symbol of love in the family. Wooden and beige colors are used to create a warmness feeling and it's perfectly matched with the ocean landscape of the unit, we incorporated the concept - "Holding little hands" into every detail of the unit, choosing the best curve around the cabinet, apply multi-framed details to give a gentle touch of safety and layers. This is a home to enjoy family time and making lasting memories with the kids. In addition considering the daily life and growth of parents with children, the children's room is arranged in a more neutral color, and a white magnetic board and a window reading corner are added to the room for the children to provide an interactive space with their parents. In order to preserve the privacy of the bedroom area, a wooden door is installed between the living room and the bedroom corridor to separate the area, and the wooden door is especially embedded in transparent glass with a bronze steel edge, which can be seen through the activity space behind the door for safety, and not to disturb the family who are resting in the bedroom. The dresser in the master bedroom is different from the traditional one. The designer hides the mirror inside the dressing cabinet and hides the LED lights on the side of the cabinet. When the vanity cabinet is opened, the cabinet door will have additional storage space. Allows female heads to more conveniently store cosmetics and make flexible use of space

The design inspiration of the project actually comes from the idea of "Holding Little Hands". "Holding Little Hands" refers to parents holding their children's hands as accompanied by their growth, giving them a full sense of security, so we deliberately integrated this idea into the details of the design of the unit. For example, the storage cabinets, desks, shoe cabinets, and mirror cabinets in the house have used the hues of white and treated with special trimming. The curved rounded design is adapted to take into account the safety considerations of the children. The design is matched with the earth tone color and multi-frame to increase the layering and to convey the design idea of "Holding Hands". With materials such as wood, beige wallpaper, and flooring, it creates a warm and simple aesthetic presenting the feelings of love with a natural look.

This project has shown us clients are more looking for hand-crafts and sophisticated work nowadays. Instead of telling us to replicate a design style that they love, they are more eager to put their personality and needs into the design, looking for a very unique and personalized interior design that can last for years. In the early stage of design, our internal marketing and design team actively met with the client and discuss for the concept, further understanding client's needs and design requirements for their house. Then we develop into a design concept that leads the entire project, and responsible for all materials sourcing. In addition to a professional and enthusiastic design team, we also have our own project management team to oversee the progress and quality of the project to ensure that the entire project can be expected.

Thanks to the trust of our client, our communication and operation are very smooth to complete. There are also some innovative challenges in the project, such as the curve - rounded on cabinet edges, multi-frame mirror cabinet design, we use LED lights to highlight the layering effect. These elements we have not tried in the past and this time we are very satisfied to present the loving emotion through these designs.

The project took about 5 months from the design stage to project completion.
