Moen China Bath Accessories suite is all about creating a flexible installation and a customized utility for modern life which inspired by classical Chinese porcelain. The blend between the humble soft-formed porcelain and flashing metal elegance reflects the philosophy of yin and yang combination. From its color, form and ornament, the China suite can widely use in traditional, New Chinese and contemporary styles. The China suite is complete with the full range of bathroom space with 11 products.

The project team was about (1) marketing team who provided the focus group user research and with sales’ consumer feedback of the current market needs then provided the project definition/ scope and objective to (2) the industrial design team to work on the style trend analysis of year 2015-2016 and to the design & development process. Also with (3) the engineering team to get involve in the internal structure design of the handle and spout architecture and the process design, a platform review to realize and standardize the new part and possibility to use the current parts, among with (4) the new product sourcing (5) the quality and (6) supply chain teams to liaise with the manufacturing suppliers for the production technical term and (7) the financial team provided the financial forecast on net sales incremental and OI incremental, the key performance measures, and supported to (1) the marketing team on the product price strategy. There were 7 full-time employees involved in the project.

The project innovations are - For the consumer’s installation of the bath accessories, the China suite provides convenience on demand by the innovation telescopic-concept rod flexibility, the towel bars offer the length range of 40-60 cm - The concept of multi-function tray with hooks breakthrough all the regular storage of the bathroom. The tray with hook can be flexible on the double rod towel bar or towel ring, not only a typical use of the tray, but also supporting the ceramic cup; tray below the small hook design, you can hang a small pieces of washing.

The goal of the project is to introduce Chinese porcelain elements into the new classical style for the first time in the existing high-end product line, and the China suite is widely praised by the sales and distributors after being listed in the same price segment. Outstanding performance, accounting for up to 45%, after the listing of sales and revenue a year to achieve the desired goal.
