With the key elements of Klimt’s paintings, the purpose of this interior design is to awaken feelings for the art, the beauty, and the pursuit in our life. Started with the geometric shapes and symbols from the paintings, ideas are formed. Curve elements are used to define this inner space with tone to tone color in grey and black. We blend in classic and nowadays materials to create a modern yet comfortable ambience. In this piece, we also want to convey and appreciate the beauty and the luxury of old time. Inside the white entrance tunnel, light and shadow reveal on the path way that will make one feel like strolling in the woods, refresh and relieved. At the end of the path, it is a capacious space. The design here is to create the contrast in space and provide the joy of the transform. The up-to-the-ceiling cylinder, the reception desk made of wooden display cabinets and red wine stacks surrounded by different themes, is the main piece that ties all the spaces together well-balanced and steadily. In the middle of the cylinder, there is a spiral stair. It is also fun to have one and to image claiming up there to the attic. On the main floor, there are two themes next to the main piece. The emulated murals on the left are based on three original paintings of Klimts’: The Kiss(Lovers), The Three Ages of Woman(Mother and Child), and Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I(Woman in Gold). It reveals the feelings of love, intimacy and passion for our love ones. Into to add the contrast, we use thousand pieces of old wood bricks randomly patched to form an uneven surface as the base. On the other wall, it is ornamented with black marble and with a big number of mixed mirrors. Thus, one wall is colorful and full of passion while the other is shimmering quietly. Back to the front, the façade is formed by hundreds of black-rhombic glasses that give the façade a modern look. In the day time, it is shimmering outside but cozy with sufficient sunlight inside. The trellis on the façade brings dappled light into the space. On the surface of the elegant decorative ceramic tiles, the shape of the light and shadow varies and creates a marvelous and enjoyable view. In the night time, it looks like a crystal box containing our guests’ wonderful dinning time, warm and luxury. Overall, the design is focused on space arranging and on linking all the elements together to create a comfort and luxury atmosphere. For our guests, we would like to bring them a different style of dining experience like being on the other side of the world.
