"Sweer Manor", the first origin of coffee that conformed to the principles of Satoyama Initiative in Taiwan, produces quality coffee beans that coexists with nature in harmony. Located in Fuli Township, Hualien County, Taiwan, embraced by East Rift Valley and Coastal Range, the field boasts abundant ecological landscapes. Bearing "Cultivate quality coffee beans with great happiness, amplify happiness by quality coffee" in mind, the coffee farmers let native vegetation, like lemons and pines, grow freely in the field, meanwhile let wild animals eat coffee beans freely as well. Despite the reduction in production, the coffee beans bear irreplaceable power of happiness. Deriving from the kind promise between farmers and nature, our design follows the concept of biodiversity and happiness that pervades the East Rift Valley. Wild animals, such as Reeve's muntjac, crab-eating mongoose and Formosan blue magpie, and native vegetation were depicted with simple strokes, alongside vivid colors as remarkable touches. The product naming was based on "happiness" as well. By depicting the production area scene vividly on it, the package not only conveys the spirit of Satoyama Initiative, but also express the happiness of coexisting with nature in harmony.
