The inspiration of design for the Swirl collection is originated from Zen garden. It is designed to allow tea-drinkers to have a unique, ritual experience like traveling in Japanese Zen garden. The Swirl collection transforms the artistic conception and elements of Zen garden into the simplicity of pottery and teaware with gritty touch. The combination of a tea tray, one tea pot and three cups can be stacked. The whole collection presents a miniature landscape of Japanese Zen garden.

The Swirl collection turns complexity into simplicity that consumers could enjoy a tea-drinking experience of etiquette without using too much space on table. The stoned-shaped design of cups makes them part of the landscape of Zen garden. When not using the set, these cups could also be stacked in order to save space by inverting to the other side. The texture of concave-convex for tea tray, the dish-drying mat, forms the effect of ventilation for its surface. The inner walls of the teaware are glazed with transparent glazes, which can be used for brewing different kinds of tea and convenient to clean. The hand-grabbing part of the teapot is applied with the design of a hollow layer, which reduces the heat by approximately 80%.
