With the theme on Re-imagining the Freedom of Mobility, the Buick Enspire, an all-electric concept SUV, had its global debut at the Buick Brand Night grandly held in Wuzhen on April 17, 2018. The vehicle showcased Buick’s bold design ideas and innovative technologies for future mobility. The Buick Enspire design is leaded by SGM-PATAC, with GM’s Global resources, and represents the all-new intelligent space for mobility that combines design aesthetics and advanced technologies.

In addition to ambience creation, Buick Enspire’s all new interface design is centered on intelligence. Multiple large size screens offer clearer, more direct vehicle information interface, allowing human-vehicle interface to be simpler and more efficient. The function zone layout for the screens offers users perfect operation experience in different driving modes. A diverse, mixed interface system consisting of face recognition, gesture control and high-precision language recognition can precisely capture operator’s gestures through sensors in cabin, allowing easier operation of buttons on the center console. An intelligent augmented reality technology-based panoramic head-up display system creates immersive scenarios and leads the industry’s connectivity experience. The ambiance lighting perfectly combines with the interior through parametric design, rendering a starry night cabin atmosphere. The system can interact with the surrounding environment via sensors in cabin to provide functions like pedestrian crossing alert, blind zone monitoring, etc. Enspire’s intelligent interface system offers an easy, smooth and boundless mobility experience through immersive scenarios.

In one year's design and development process, Buick Enspire concept vehicle project team actively practices the corporate culture and core values of SGM-PATAC. In the process of team management and cross-functional department cooperation, the management of design department fully authorizes and actively mobilizes the innovation enthusiasm of team members.
