The Bugaboo Bee5 features an extra durable frame with 6063 grade aluminum designed to last for years, the removable seat cover lets parents easily update the stroller’s looks for their second or third child. For families who receive the stroller secondhand, it is very easy to refresh the stroller as nearly all parts can be exchanged – and of course they can again style the stroller to fit their own taste. Thereby, we greatly extended the life cycle of the product.

The Bugaboo bee5 is improved on 3 areas: performance, comfort and style. The smoothest ride ever Thanks to innovative engineering solutions, the Bugaboo bee5 is even easier to maneuver and offers a smoother ride than ever before. The front wheel suspension has undergone a series of improvements resulting in a more comfortable and easier ride for both parents and children. By examining the physics of the suspension system and making technical developments based on the findings of the engineers, the team was able to improve the performance of the Bugaboo Bee5 suspension. This new design also reduces the amount of dust which can make its way into the system, meaning a smoother drive over time. The front wheels have also been designed in an entirely new way, not only making the wheels more stable, but also delivering a better swivel performance. All-new padded seat system Our engineers did not stop there to improve the stroller’s comfort factor. Another new feature of the Bugaboo bee5 is the padded seat fabric: we’ve added an extra layer of foam and the “pillow top’ lining offers extra protection around the head and is more comfortable for sleeping. The seat fabric can now be separated from the seat hardware, making it easier than ever to refresh and to update the look of the stroller. In this way, parents can easily extend the lifecycle of the product. Aside from the all-new padded seat design, the engineers also improved the harness of the seat to make the shoulder straps stand out even more on their own. This means it’s easier to buckle your child in and out of the stroller. Over 100 new parts The Bugaboo Bee5 boasts over 100 new parts, some not visible from the outside, like the inner suspension system. The stroller redesign includes small adjustments to details that make life for parents even easier. For example, the integrated attachment points for accessories means there’s no need to use adapters to attach things like the Bugaboo Cup Holder, Bugaboo Parasol or the Bugaboo Comfort Wheeled Board. Just click them directly onto the stroller and head out to explore. There’s also a handy pocket in the under-seat basket to easily stow your rain cover or other small items. Show your style The Bugaboo Bee5 is not just brains, but beauty as well. With fifteen new colors, parents have even more options to create the stroller that shows their style. The product is now 5 months in the market and is a commercial success. Global sales are performing above our expectations, including the Asian market. We also see that our consumers value the fact that they can customize the stroller to fit their own style. Countless different color combinations have been created by our consumers, resulting in unique combinations seen on the street. We are also proud that our consumer research has proven that the emphasis on steering and comfort has paid off. Steering comfort is rated with a 9 or 10 by 93 % of Bugaboo Bee5 consumers, which is “above and beyond” their expectations.
