This is the home of designer Zhao Jingyu, the founder of Jingyu Space Research Office. He often compares home to an island and feels that home is more like a container for dialogue between himself and himself. So in this space he is more loyal to his heart and tells his own unique monologue. After ten years of working in the industry, he always meets various style needs of the owner in his work, but he never agrees that the owner’s home is deliberately defined as a certain style, because the strong symbolic expression will have certain Timeliness and popularity means it will also become a thing of the past. As a "non-styler," he completely abandoned the shackles of style during the renovation of his own home, putting his living experience and functional requirements first, integrating his own understanding of design and current life, for I and my family have built a home that doesn't stick to a specific style, but can last forever.

This project focused on in-depth thinking on aesthetics, emotional connection and functional innovation, and made an attempt to weaken the inherent spatial attributes of each room, and created a "Pandora's Box" in the middle of the home. Different spaces and functions are planned on all four sides. The walls of the whole house use artistic paint with natural texture changes to form the skin of the space. The changes in the depth of texture reflected by the shutters bring a more poetic atmosphere to the entire space. This project creates an open and integrated space for users, creating their own island and a dialogue container for life.

The project was highly recognized by the industry immediately after its release. The work was published in the headlines of "Builder" and "PChouse Home", and was selected as "Selected Works" on the "Live Well" and "Yidoutang" apps ", was selected as the TOP100 Southwest Division of the 2020 Builders Awards. Many techniques used in this project are actually relatively new, such as the semi-circular wall treatment of the whole house, which makes the whole space more transparent and interactive. Changing the rules and regulations of the conventional house type can actually guide the homeowner to have more thinking about their own living conditions and the possibility of living. The soft decoration of the whole house does not inherently strengthen a certain style, but combines the homeowner's hobby and higher aesthetics to create a single effect, which also has a certain role in promoting the direction of home aesthetics.
